As part of its continued investment in retail, Oracle announced that it has established the Oracle Retail Center of Excellence in order to deliver business value to leading retailers seeking to improve profitability.
Located in Bangalore and comprised of nearly 200 retail experts, the Oracle Retail Center of Excellence is a platform for the world's largest, most successful retail organizations to exchange ideas, develop concepts and showcase scalable, best-of-breed retail solutions.
The Oracle Retail Center of Excellence has global expertise in retail disciplines including merchandising, planning, optimization, analytics, store operations, supply chain and enterprise application integration.
“Oracle is focused on helping retail businesses achieve greater profitability and return on investment,” said Jay Bhow, Head, Oracle Retail Center of Excellence.

Oracle has generated significant momentum in retail since establishing its global retail business unit in 2005.

The Oracle Retail Center of Excellence is the result of more than a year of work to build a world-class team with extensive retail experience.
“The Oracle Retail Center of Excellence focuses exclusively on the needs of retailers and how they can improve business performance,” said Mukesh Mathur, Head of Oracle's Retail Business in India.
