In order to take a step towards improvement of the textile industry, Karnataka Government has decided to develop a textile park at Waghavade village near Belgaum.
The Government has set up a committee to look after the preliminary preparations of the park, which was registered in the name of 'Belagavi Textile Park Limited'.
The committee called a meeting to chalk out the outlines how it will work, programmes on how to attract the investors for the park, and maintaining the product quality of the textile park.
The committee wants an early set up of the textile park.
