Kala Srusti organizes All India Crafts Bazaar 2006

Kala Srusti Handicrafts and Handlooms Emporium, located in Matsyadarshini Complex at RK Beach is hosting All India Crafts Bazaar 2006, which started on December 21, 2006. K Kanna Babu, Project Director, District Rural Development Agency, opened the expo.
Crafts Bazaar is organized by Kala Srusti, which is a handloom and handicraft association for benefit of artisans situated at Srikalahasti in Chittoor district. Many works created by artisans of country are on sale.
G Dasaradhachari, Secretary of the association, informed that purpose of developing India's craft-clusters will be partly achieved through this event.
Gadwall silk sarees, Phulkari suits, jute products, wood carvings, wooden lacquer ware, Hyderabadi pearls, leather puppets, crochet lace, Pochampalli garments and silk sarees, silver filigree and other artistic works are being showcased in the exhibition.
