Czarina fashion boutique in Thiruvananthapuram is offering latest range of salwars and saris during this festive season. Designer cotta saris in aari work and silver embroidery are new attractions.
Jute silks are the flavour of this season because these saris can be worn in marriages and engagement functions.
Maheswari and Mangalgiri saris featuring prints like block, bhagru and daboo are in great demand. Tissue cotta saris with antique work, available in radiant and unique colour combinations, are also preferred by ladies.
Current trends in vogue include stripes and zaggy prints, block prints and mirror works in matka silks. But ahead of all these are geometric prints.
Other trends which have preserved their charm for New Year are mirror works in georgettes, embroidered silver and gold, zardozi, Kashmiri works, chiffons and crepes.
Boutique owner Sheila James informed media sources that orders for designs and patterns were given much ahead of New Year, so that latest collections are available for consumers at the right time.
