Ministry of Textiles has hired international agency Lowe & Partners Worldwide to handle its promotion and advertising of National Jute Board at Kolkata.
Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs recently approved the proposal to set up National Jute Board which will be a collaboration of Jute Manufactures Development Council (JMDC) and National Centre for Jute Diversification (NCJD). Main aim of this association will be to expand Indian jute industry on both national and international fronts.
Lowe will work on developing individual identity of Indian jute in global markets with a Rs12-14 crore budget.
Meanwhile, Lintas Media Group has taken up the media responsibilities for Ministry of Textiles.
