Daewon to establish US $8mn garment unit in Da Nang city

Korean textile and garment major Daewon has got approval to establish a US $8 million unit in Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone at the Da Nang City.
Daewon has a license to establish 100 percent foreign owned garment enterprise, the Daewon – Da Nang Company Ltd. The site selected for the proposed unit on 4 hactares in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone will manufacture fibres and apparels.
Company targets exports up to 80 percent of its total production.
An existing garment unit of Daewon has also been established in the Vinh Loc IZ at HCM City, besides a 100 percent foreign owned workshop at the Nhon Trach IZ, in Dong Nai Province.
