In order to provide information on anti-dumping lawsuit over textile and apparel goods to US, Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas) along with Vinatex organized conference at Duc Giang Apparel Company.
In conference, held on January 25, 2007, about 80 textile and apparel companies in North Vietnam, Trade Promotion Department, Competition Management Division and Textile and Apparel Administration (under MOT) participated.
Many aspects related to anti-dumping lawsuit such as investigation for anti-dumping lawsuit, audit mechanism, procedures for calculating price range, necessary information about US market etc, were discussed in the conference.
Participants in the conference also requested Ministry of Trade and General Customs to strictly control volume and value of textile and apparel goods exported to US.
