Fire destroys embroidery facility at Kolkata

A devastating fire which broke out in an embroidery factory situated in a three storied building at Bon Bihari Road early on Monday.
The 1,500 square feet factory was completely destroyed in the fire.
The fire may have broken out from the generator and the presence of combustible material within the factory premises helped the fire to spread very fast, suspects Mrinal Kanti Das, Additional Superitendent of Police.
The fire was finally put out after a couple of hours with the help of six fire tenders.
Further investigations are being carried out by the police to search for the exact cause of fire.
