Following its successful inaugural conference in 2006, this two-day programme is one of the few specialised conferences that caters to the needs of both ophthalmologists and optometrists, and will issue Certificate of Continuing Medical Education to its attending professionals. It will discuss a wide spectrum of topics, ranging from the basics of refraction and correction of refractory errors to the complicated eye diseases that can influence the refraction. There will also be a dedicated "Refractive Surgery Sub-Speciality Session" to address specific issues concerning Lasik technology.

Vision-X Dubai 2007 will offer a diverse yet targeted range of products, including designer spectacle frames and fashion sunglasses, optical and ophthalmic lenses, accessories, tools and machinery, artificial eyes, optical and ophthalmic equipment and instruments, surgical instruments, spectacle lenses and lens cloths, eye care products, diagnostic equipment and instruments, lens cutting instruments, orthoptic equipment, sports wear and safety wear.
This trade-only event will appeal to distributors, importers and exporters, manufacturers, resellers, retailers and eye specialists such as opticians, optometrists, ophthalmologists and surgeons.
Vision-X Dubai will be held in Hall 5 and 6 of the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) from 6 - 8 March 2007. The Vision-X Dubai Conference, organised by Emirates Medical Association Ophthalmic Society (EMAOS) will be held on 7 - 8 March 2007. Registration fee for the Conference is AED150 for payment received before 1 March 2007, and AED180 for payment from 2 March 2007 onwards.
