International Istanbul Fashion Fair to conclude today

Today is the final day of the two day event, 9th International Istanbul Fashion Fair (IIFF), held at city's CNR Expo Fair Center which started on eight February.
The fair was attended by State Minister Kürsad Tüzmen, Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) President Oguz Satici, Union of Istanbul Textile and Ready-to-wear Exporters (IHKIB) Chairman Süleyman Orakçioglu and other sector representatives as well as head of the Portuguese Textile Exporters Union, Paulo Nunes de Almeida.
The fair serves as a platform that spotlights Turkey's performance in fashion and production in the ready to wear clothing in the global arena.
Countries like Italy, France, Greece, Portugal, Japan and Brazil have participated in the fair.
Portuguese fashion designer of Moroccan origin, Fatima Lopes, put on a show on the opening night of the IIFF. Lopes is known for her most expensive bikini design comprised of gold and other jewelry worth $1 million and for her entry in the Guinness Book of World Records.
