Pioneering spirit carrying through: initial manifestation successful

It is rare that a new concept has created that much excitement and curiosity such as BBBatKRAFTWERK, Berlin-Mitte. On Friday, January 26th, 2007 at 12 p.m. the tradeshow, that was none, finally opened its doors.

Expectations were high but the organizers as well as the participating brands and labels kept their promises: their extraordinary presentations in the unique location were convincing and affirmed the subtitle “this is not a tradeshow”!

Karl-Heinz Müller, President of BREAD & butter Berlin GmbH: „A brand consists of more than garments. Emotions, values and image are essential ingredients as well. BBBatKRAFTWERK, Berlin-Mitte is the ideal platform for brands and labels to live their creativity to the full. Here, they have the opportunity to transmit emotions and to put them in focus.”

Exhibitors were extremely satisfied after the two days of show. Michael Strehler, General Manager Levi's Germany: "My expectations are complied. We've seen good people. It's been a good start. Now, I expect to know early if this event will be continued. If so, we will all come back and have fun.”

Chad Weidmer, CEO Goorin Brothers: "Before it was BBB. Now it's PPP: Pure. People. Power.“ Gerrit Voss, Managing Director, drykorn: „Very succeeded event, great location. If 80 to 100 exhibitors will participate next time indeed we can imagine to come back.“ Fred Bschaden, German distributor for Red Wing Shoes, Atelier La Durance, Johnson Motors: "I'm quite happy. A lot of press came as well as many clients. I'm looking forward to the 100 exhibitors next time.”
