Tavex-Santista new Marketing Director for North America

Tavex - Santista Textil, world leaders in Denim fabrics for jeans, announce that as part of the consolidation and growth plan of both companies, Mr. Jake Fraser was recently appointed as Sales and Marketing Director for North and Central America.
A native of Canada, he is an experienced executive in the textile industry, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
Jake and his team have the basic objective of providing increasing service to all customers in North and Central America, enhancing the company relationship with the US, Canada, Mexico and Central America markets, intensifying partnerships and actively contributing to the success of Tavex Santista clients in the clothing industry and retail business.
In addition, Tavex - Santista are implementing other projects in North and Central America, among which increasing the supply of Denim and other fabrics in the region and the opening of a Service Center in New York City.
The companies plan on supporting its customers throughout the entire process of global growth, and also become a benchmark in research, development and innovation in Denim, providing creativity, competitiveness and service.
Tavex, the largest European producer of top quality Denim and the Brazilian company Santista Textil, the main Denim producer in Latin America, merged in 2006, thereby creating a leading global group in the manufacture and sale of Denim, with production plants in the Americas (Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Mexico), Europe (Spain) and Africa (Morocco).
The new group, with sales of 150 million yards of Denim fabric, has significant sales in other segments of the textile industry, such as fabrics for Sportswear and Workwear, as market leader in Brazil and South America.
