Could silk industry boom in production and sales?

China has no independent brands that are influential or high occupancy in international market. Those once well-known silk goods now lack culture to support them. Could China's silk industry regain its talents on the world stage?
In January of this year, the Ministry of Commerce promulgated the 'development program of 11th Five-Year Plan of Silk Industry', which provided an important basis for the reform and development of the entire silk industry.
China's cocoon output will reach 850,000 -900,000 tons in 2010; silk output reach 170,000 - 190,000 tons, silk industrial output value will be 250 billion yuan; true silk exports will reach US $5-5.5 billion. China will initially transfer from a 'large silk country' to a 'powerful silk country'.
