Namma Angadi's handicraft exhibition to open on March 23

Namma Angadi, an exhibition-cum-sale of handicrafts, is organized by Manipal Institute of Communication (MIC), will be held at the Nehru Memorial Hall in Manipal, Karnataka from March 23 to 25.
Namma Angadi is a collective marketing network for traditional artisans of Karnataka. Concerned for Working Children (CWC), an NGO supports rural craftsmen to improve and upgrade their skills, and produce innovative, cost effective and environmentally friendly products.
Dr Ratna Prakash, the Dean of College of Nursing of Manipal University, will inaugurate the exhibition.
Namma Angadi, now running for last three years, has shown a very good sale and demand of handicraft products, has been extended for another three years.
In the exhibition, beautifully hand-made cotton kurtas, embroidered dress materials, bags, ethnic terracotta jewellery and handicraft items can be seen.
