Turkmen State commodity and raw materials exchange registered 55 contracts worth US $143.225 million in the past week. Gasoline and diesel fuel from Seyydi oil refinery was bought by merchants of Turkey and UAE.
Purified waste of spinning was bought by traders from Russia and Turkey, cotton yarn was purchased by Lithuanian and Belarusian businessmen, while various types of lint cotton was bought by merchants from Singapore, BVI, Marshall Islands and Switzerland.
Knitwear, grey fabric, purified waste of cotton spinning, cotton yarn, washed karakul and sarajin wool was procured by traders from US, UAE, Ukraine, Cypriot, Hungary, Russia, Turkey, India, Switzerland, BVI and Belarus.
Total value of contracts made in local currency on deposits surpassed Manat35.569 billion. Turkmen traders purchased lint cotton worth over Manat1.383 billion for domestic purposes.
Demand for oil products from Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries went up. Gasoline A-80 was paid for by traders from UAE and Iran, mazut M-100 was bought by merchants from BVI, Canada and UAE, polypropylene was purchased by Russian and UAE businessmen.
