Farmers obstruct Textile Park work

Villagers of Chintavaram of Chillkuru Mandal prevented revenue officals from putting markers for boundaries for proposed Textile Park.
This caused tension in the village of Chintavaram.
The cause of resentment was that compensations were not paid to them and till amount is paid they will not allow officials to demarcate boundaries for the proposed Textile Park.
The residents put up an allegation that survey of lands with Survey numbers 417, 463, 363, 360, 385 and 99 to 407 were done improperly.
Villagers said that their lands were fertile and demanded a resurvey.
