Rangasutra, savior of local artisans

Rangsutra, is an innovative company, with thousand artisan shareholders from remote region of India – Desert of Rajastan, hilly region of Assam and Uttaranchal.
The main aim of this unique company is to ensure livelihood to artisans as well as to create and sell top quality hand made products in the national and international market on the principles of fair trade.
Rangsutra utilizes the traditional craft in creating products like home furnishings, accessories, apparel for men, women and children.
The company takes pride that in Fall 2006, French models sashayed on the ramp in Paris, wearing jackets handcrafted by Rangsutra. Paris-based design house Numanu, is one of their biggest clients.
