Most textile raw materials show upward trend

On April 2, PTA, MEG prices went up and semi-dull, bright polyester chip continued upward trend. CDP chip, PET bottle chip prices rose and that of polyester staple fiber also uplifted.
Acrylic Staple fiber 1.5D × 38 mm, acrylic top 3D x 102mm prices consolidated, CPL.
Nylon-6 chip prices settled flat. Viscose Staple fiber prices still swelled. Polyester filament product prices rose across the board for 100-200 yuan per ton.
It is learned from spinning enterprises that the production and marketing rate of several local FDY producers is still good, at present, polyester chip prices continue to rise.
Some polyester filament prices will post a moderate upward trend in recent time, driven by expected increasing polyester raw materials.
Overall, cotton prices were stable. Driven by the prices of raw materials from upstream, rayon yarn prices were ascending.
Pure polyester yuan 50s and 60s followed rally, but other items remained stable for the time being. Pure polyester yarn and rayon yarn items are expected to have improving rooms.
