According to a textile machinery dealer, Surat textile market is going through a makeover phase and the business has grown by leaps and bounds in the last few years.
Experts in industry say that Surat used to be a textile center earlier, but now it is transforming into an embroidery hub of India with about 20,000 embroidery machines installed in the state and another 20,000 required.
