Trade with India meagre, but growing fast

After an elaborate talk with India's Commerce Minister Kamal Nath in Wellington, Phil Goff, Trade Minister, stated that both India and New Zealand are keen to find out possibilities of Free Trade Agreement.

Trade between the two countries is relatively meagre, but growing fast. Both the countries are interested in strengthening business relationship with each other.

New Zealand exported worth $355 million of goods in 2006-07 till February to India, making it the second fastest growing export destination.
