Held May 8-10, 2007 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, the triennial gathering of Material World, SPESA Expo, and Technology Solutions experienced solid attendance, a busy exhibition floor, and standing-room-only seminar presentations.
A global representation of resources contributed to the exhibition's success with attendees and exhibitors alike reporting that the energy and business activity on the show floor recalled apparel supply chain trade shows of years past.
Co-hosted by the American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) and the Sewn Products Equipment & Suppliers of the Americas (SPESA), this triennial gathering brought machinery and equipment, fabric/findings, sourcing, information technology and a full range of educational programming together under one roof.
With the uncertainty of the impact of a quota-free world squarely behind them, suppliers and service providers aggressively promoted themselves throughout the three concurrent events.
“We were extremely pleased to have the opportunity once again to join forces with SPESA EXPO to bring together a comprehensive industry gathering,” said Tim von Gal, president, Material World. “All three sectors experienced solid success and each benefited from the momentum the combined event generated.
In addition to industry networking, fabric sampling, demonstrations of garment production capabilities and technology, Material World continues to distinguish itself as a tradeshow where orders are written.”
