Fleissner to present range of machines for MMF sector at ITMA

At ITMA 2007 in Munich, Fleissner will present a range of machines for the man-made fiber industry which are used for the production of standard and special fibers:
The staff at the Fleissner stand will provide additional information on new developments and trends in the man-made fiber market. Visitors can satisfy themselves of the competence and versatility of Fleissner: as a system supplier of production lines and a service provider for research projects.
With the extension of its technical center by an extrusion spinning plant end of 2006, Fleissner can now offer its customers optimum conditions for developing the technologies of the future.
Calender:
For contact drying and heatsetting of fiber tows and yarns under tension, Fleissner supplies heated cantilever rollers. Depending on the relative fiber forces, the units are provided with a cast central gear housing for 4 or 6 rollers or with individual roller bearings in a steel frame.
Godet diameters between 750 and 950 mm and godet lengths up to 2000 mm can achieve tension forces up to 200 kN and speeds up to at least 600 m/min. Energies used are steam, water, thermal oil or electrical power.
Fleissner calenders offer a range of advantages to the operator:
• Long service life, high reliability: The proven and advanced design principle and the elaborate execution ensure smooth operation.
• Highly uniform process temperatures: All godet types, and especially double-jacket godets and CombiEco godets, ensure highly uniform temperatures over the working width by an opti-mized flow of heat transfer media and 100% removal of condensate. This results in top product qualities.
