President praises textile workers for all-round growth

The Textile Industry Workers Day, which is a National holiday of Turkmenistan, marked annually on the first Sunday of June.
During this occasion President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov congratulated workers of the textile industry for their major contribution in the steady economic growth of the country.
The President also stated that Governments investments in new textile complexes and cotton-spinning factories have helped to increase the textile output.
Turkmenistani textile industry produces woolen and jeans fabrics, knitted wear, printed cotton and dozens of other fabrics which have great demand in world market.
The industry provides employment to about 28 thousand workers.
