Lowered rebate rate affects exports

From July 1, China adjusted the export rebate rate of 2831 commodities. In order to find out effects of this implementation, Government is carrying out an investigation on textile enterprises. Few delegates from some industrial associations are assisting this study.

Experts believe that the range of this adjustment is huge and is affecting the textile and clothing sector, resulting in increase of prices.

Chinese Textile Industry Association was concerned, as it is estimated that over seven billion RMB worth of textile and clothing products accounting for 63 percent of the total export value, would be unable to make the cut.
