Textile, design JV's sought with Italy as trade set to cross $5bn mark

Setting a tone for seeking expansion in the field of textiles, design, agro industries, Indian Commerce Minister Kamal Nath met his Italian counterpart Claudio Scajola, Minister for Productive Activities, official release informs.
Meanwhile, a 25 per cent jumps is expected in bilateral trade between India and Italy which will cross US$5 billion mark up from $4 billion last year.
Joint ventures, technical collaborations and investment in sectors like design, agro-processing, textiles, infrastructure and marine products are also envisaged under a broad based tie-up.
