International handicraft exhibition opens today

The International handicraft exhibition (SIARC) which opens today in Cameroon, will run till February 2. The expo is organized to boost the economy of the sub-regions of Central Africa and in reshaping the fate of Cameroonian craft.

The organizers simply insist the participants to be focused so as to ensure a successful exhibition. The experts are working under the theme: "the development and promotion of handicraft in Central Africa".

The participants will show case the best handicraft selected from countries of the sub-region. It will include wooden craft, masks and other famous home decore artifacts. So far 365 stands are being constructed and 300 Cameroonian participants have already indicated their desire to take part in the exhibition.
