PiPN, the academically acclaimed partnership between TNNA and the University of Akron, Akron OH, creates a positive needlearts presence in the college community, educates and involves new, young stitchers and inspires the professionals of tomorrow.

PiPN provides our host companies with the opportunity to bring new talent and energy into their companies on a limited-time, cost-effective basis.

Mentoring a young person has proven to be a two-way learning experience, with interns helping hosts develop new ideas, products, displays and more.

PiPN provides young people with an opportunity to learn about the wonderful world of needlearts and the many opportunities for future careers in an industry that is strong and growing.

Students earn 6 hours of credit for their internships (3 hours for the in-class, hands-on training; 3 hours for on-site placement.)
