While new industrial orders for Eurozone dropped 1.6 percent in July from June, but were up 1.2pc year-on-year, machinery and equipment rose 1.3 percent, and textiles and textile products grew marginally at 0.6 percent.
Chemicals and chemical products registered a drop of 0.3 percent against 1.4 percent gain last year, said Eurostat, the official statistics agency for Europe.
