Join us for The Textile Museum's 30th Annual Celebration of Textiles on Saturday, June 7, 10 am - 4 pm & Sunday, June 8, 1 - 5 pm.
Established in 1978, this free festival for all ages invites visitors to explore the textile arts and cultures of the world through hands-on activities and artist demonstrations in the Museum's gardens, historic buildings and current exhibitions.

Artist Demonstrations & Hands-on Activities: - Try your hand at spinning wool into yarn - Make a blue-dyed textile, inspired by the exhibition BLUE - Watch artists from Springwater Fiber Workshop use natural indigo dye - See a special display of textile art by local students - Talk with quilters from the Annapolis Quilter's Guild and other fiber artists
Sheep Shearing & Musical Performances: - Watch sheep shearing in the Museum's garden (Saturday only, weather permitting) - See local students honored during the museum-school partnership ceremony (Saturday only) - Enjoy bluegrass performed by Blue Daze (Saturday only) - Listen to traditional Andean music and dance presented by RAYMI (Sunday only).
