Business Meetings with Trade Mission from Cuba

A trade mission from Cuba, led by Hon'ble Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade of Cuba H.E. Mr. Eduardo Escandell Amador has arrived New Delhi, today.

FICCI is organizing one-to-one business meetings with the members of trade mission as per the following schedule.

Day and Date : Monday, May 19, 2008

Time : 10:30 am to 12:30 pm followed by High-Tea
(Registration begins at 10:00 am)

Venue : Kautilya Hall, Hotel Samrat, Kautilya Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi


The Business Delegation is drawn from the Sectors of
• Pharmaceutical/biotech products and raw materials - including human and veterinary medicines of natural origin, probiotic yoghurt – and medical equipment
• Chemical products especially for agro-industry
• Agro/food products such as rice and processed foods (fruits/vegetables)
• Consumer goods for store chains such as home appliances, cleaning products (home and person), tires, plastic bags/jute bags, etc.
• Consumer goods for hotels
• Energy equipment such as solar collectors; energy generation & transmission equipment
• Air conditioning materials and equipment such as coolant gases, refrigeration compressors and materials, wires/cables
• Raw materials for metallurgy; parts for metal structures, electrical goods, bicycles, etc.; perforated steel tubes; equipment for metallurgical industry
• Paper, plastic resins, wood.
• Textile products such as fabrics, apparels

The main objective of the visit of this trade mission is to identify business and inward investment opportunities and forge collaborations with Indian companies

In view of importance of the visit of this high-level trade mission especially when Indian companies are making sizable investments and setting up business operations in Cuba and other Latin American countries, we take pleasure in inviting you to these business meetings.
