Cleansing towels of Fujian records a commendable growth

It has been reported that in the first quarter of 2008, the total output of 13 big cleansing-towels production enterprises in Shaowu City, Fujian Province reached 51.96 million pieces, registering a surge of 71.67 percent than the same period last year.
It was in 1980s that Shaowu City imported the cleansing-towels production lines from Taiwan to set up Fujian Shaowu Fulian Co, Ltd becoming the foremost production base of its kind in China.
In the recent times, the company has had rich experiences in technology, talents, marketing and other aspects relating to cleansing towels. Besides, the growth of the sector has been so remarkable that the Government has recognized it as a key industry of developing local economy.
Presently, companies in the city can produce 250 million pieces of cleansing towels annually accounting for 70 percent of the market share in China.
