On August 13, propylene prices have gone down compared to last week. Experts suggest that plunge in the crude prices are affecting the current trading scenario.
Propylene prices for most of the importing countries fluctuated on August 13. Prices quoted for Far Eastern, and United States demonstrated a fall where as for the European region, stability is depicted in comparison to the prior week.
Propylene prices in Far East region:
Propylene, FOB South Korea, at US $1490-1500 per ton.
Propylene prices in European region:
Propylene (polymerization level), FD Northwest Europe, at Euro 1000-1010 per metric ton.
Propylene (polymerization level), CIF Northwest Europe, at Euro 1000-1010 per metric ton.
Price in the United States:
Propylene (refining level), FAS Houston, at US cent 64.000-65.000 per lb.
