We ended this very informative interview by asking him to gaze through a crystal globe and foresee the status of the textile machinery manufacturing industry by 2010, to which he calmly replied by saying “The Europe and US market for textile products account for the significant share of the Indian Textile Exports. We should be prepared for an even further slow down before the upturn, which could take as long as 2010. This will obviously have significant detrimental impact on the Indian textile machinery industry.”
