The second edition of IFAI's Advanced Textiles '09 Conference, will be held from 2-3 April 2009 in Brussels, Belgium. Hundreds of industry executives will congregate to discuss technical textile innovations coming in the next five to ten years. The conference is led by Dr. Isa Hofmann, and will combine presentations and discussions focusing on:

- Highlights in safety and protective textiles
- Smart Textiles: Challenges and bottlenecks
- Nanotechnologies in the automotive sector
- Textile membranes and architecture
- Man-made fibers in medical applications
- Trends in innovative advanced textiles

Based on the positive feedback from our 2008 international audience, the second edition conference will guarantee an excellent meeting platform for supplier companies to demonstrate new, market-ready innovations, technologies and develop cooperative partnerships with hundreds of influential decision makers.

With our innovative educational sessions, an ideal location which is home to several stakeholder institutions; a coalition of supporting industry partners including the Belgium-based Fedustria and such organizations as ACIMIT, Clubtex, Espace Textile, IVG, ITMF, R2ITH and UIT, this event is an ideal opportunity for high-visibility promotion for your company.
