Monforts puts on display 'TT Stenter chamber' at showroom

Monforts Textilmaschinen GmbH has extended its showroom in Mönchengladbach with the inclusion of a Montex TT Stenter chamber for technical textiles and its latest energy tower for heat recovery.

The showroom provides a testing and demonstration facility for fabric trials under real production conditions for its customers. Covering more than 1000 m² the newly extended showroom also includes:

•A Montex 6500 (240cm nominal width) stenter for drying, heat setting and coating trials with woven and knitting fabrics (with coating device) and a 300°C treatment chamber for special applications.
•A soft coating device for single or double-sided fabric application with liquors.
•A Thermex Hotflue (200cm nominal width) with a Matex padder and VTG infrared predryer for continuous dyeing (with colour metric) and Econtrol fabric trials.
•A DynAir relaxation dryer (200cm nominal width) and flow through dryer for knitted fabrics in tubes or open widths and for fleece/ nonwovens.
•Several Qualitex plc control working stations for trial of machine operations and online assistance teleservice
•Sanforising unit display model

The showroom also features a museum section with an original Monforts raising machine dating from 1918 which had been working in Poland until 2006 before completely restored.
