For three years in a row, the National Retail Federation's BIG show, the industry's premier event for retailers across the world, has earned a spot in Tradeshow Week's 200 Annual Directory.
According to the annual list, which ranks conventions and events throughout the United States and Canada by total net square feet of paid exhibit space, NRF's 2008 Annual Convention and EXPO placed 155 out of 200 events, up from the 169 ranking for the 2007 show. The 2008 event, which welcomed over 18,500 attendees, boasted 167,000 net square feet of exhibit space.
“The growth and success of NRF's Annual Convention wouldn't be possible without the support of our members, partners, sponsors and the entire retail community,” said Susan Newman, Vice President of Conferences, NRF. “We are honored to be a part of this list and look forward to continued growth in years to come.”
NRF's Annual Convention and EXPO is held each year in New York City at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Next year's BIG Show will be held January 10-13, 2010.
