DesleeClama wins three prizes at Interzum Awards

Despite the current economic climate, there is room for good news from the textile sector. DesleeClama, worldwide producer of woven and knitted mattress ticking, located in Beselare (West Flanders), swept up no less than 3 prizes at the prestigious Interzum Award 2009 event in Germany.

The “Interzum Award 2009 – Best of the Best” went to one of the latest new developments: ECOFAIR. Ecofair is a mattress ticking made from organic cotton that is 100% ecologically cultivated and purchased according to fair trade principles - an honest price for the farmer and under the supervision of an internationally recognised organisation.

Two further prizes in the “high product quality award” category went to the new products THERMIC and CELLIANT also developed by DesleeClama.

DesleeClama has succeeded in making its mark in the textile industry by being just one step ahead in every way. Craftsmanship, creativity and sheer determination have been handed down from generation to generation, as well as a discerning eye for perfection.
