OMNOVA to raise price for GenTac & GenFlo products

OMNOVA Solutions announced a price increase of $0.10 per dry pound for GenTac vinyl pyridine and GenFlo styrene butadiene latex products sold into the rubber reinforcement market.
The increases, as allowed by contract, are effective August 5, 2009. This action is necessitated by the continued escalation in costs of key raw materials.
OMNOVA Solutions Inc is a technology-based company with 2008 sales of $869 million and a current workforce of 2,415 employees worldwide. OMNOVA is an innovator of emulsion polymers, specialty chemicals, and decorative and functional surfaces for a variety of commercial, industrial and residential end uses.
