RUSNANO delegation, headed by Anatoly Chubais, Chief Executive Officer, started its working trip to France visiting the Ministry of Industry of France in Paris.

Anatoly Chubais and Alexander Orlov, Russian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to France, had a meeting with Christian Estrosi, Minister of Industry of France. Anatoly Chubais also had a session with Bernard Bigot, General Administrator, Commission for Atomic Energy of France, attended by experts in sciences, technology, and space.

“This is our first major trip to France, and there is Grenoble ahead with its one of the largest innovation centers in Europe.
We are going to study the French experience in founding technopolises and technology centers. And the first meetings had given us confidence that we can expect very interesting project applications as well as new partners from France,” said Anatoly Chubais.

On September 10, the delegation will visit MEDEF International (French Business Confederation), where Anatoly Chubais will give a presentation about RUSNANO. The next place to visit is GIFAS (French Aerospace Industries Association) and Institut Francais Textile (the Institute of Textile).

On September 11, the delegation will move to Grenoble and have a tour around the MINATEC Innovation Center and visit ST Microelectronics. On September 12, the delegation will tour around Sofia Antipolis Technology Park accompanied by Pierre Laffitte, the founder of Sophia Antipolis. To crown the visit, a meeting will take place with fellow countrymen at the Russian-speaking Scientists Association, headed by Vyacheslav Safarov.
