China's total exports of embroidery to the world reached US $490.26 million from January to July 2009, down 42.25 percent from the same period last year.
The growth rate was lower by nearly 31.13 percent, when compared with the negative growth rate of 11.12 percent recorded by the overall textiles and garment sector.
The price in the first seven months averaged at $9,200 per ton, representing a reduction of $100 per ton from the same period of last year, while July exports fetched $84.07 million.
