GlobalTex to feature largest collection of European resources

Market Center Management Company (MCMC), the management company of leading wholesale trade centers and trade events around the world, announced next week's GlobalTex will feature the largest collection of European resources on the West Coast.

The show will feature a 30 to 40 percent increase in the number of high-end international resources. In fact, the rise in international attention hasn't slowed down with last-minutes leases being signed each day. GlobalTex, to be held October 13-15 , 2009 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC), is endorsed by the Textile Association of Los Angeles (TALA) and California Fashion Association (CFA) and supported by Espace Textile,Fashion Business Incorporated (FBI), and Mudpie Inc.

“The surge in European exhibitors says a lot about our show and what we offer – quality resources in a fresh and professional environment with cutting-edge trend labs and diverse educational opportunities,” said Stephanie Cole,vice president, GlobalTex. “GlobalTex is like no other show on the West Coast with its distinct international resources. It's on par with leading shows on the East Coast and in Europe.” In addition to more resources, 50 percent more consulates and commissions have registered to attend GlobalTex and review the show for April 2010.

GlobalTex is the first full-scale production and design trade show in the United States presenting the complete supply chain for fashion.
