Nuance-Watson proudly accepted the “Airport Retailer of the Year” trophy at the 2009 Frontier Awards Night in Cannes on October 21. This is the fourth prestigious Frontier Award to be bestowed on the biggest retailer at Hong Kong International Airport in four consecutive years, demonstrating the company's continuous commitment to quality, innovation and partnership.

Accepting the award, Ms. Alessandra Piovesana, Regional Managing Director of Nuance-Watson (Hong Kong), said: “My colleagues and I are delighted to have once again been recognised by the industry as being the world's best airport retailer. Such coveted global accolade is a wonderful tribute to our team's shared efforts, passion and unwavering dedication to both customer satisfaction and the travel retail industry as a whole. It also reflects our success in sustaining our business during more than a decade of changes, challenges and economic turbulence. We sincerely salute our customers, staff and our Airport Authority and brand partners for their loyalty and trust. In accepting this fantastic award for the fourth year, we pledge to uphold the world leading status of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) for many years to come. In moving forward, we also resolve to redouble our commitment and will continue to leverage every opportunity to grow our business and benefit our customers and stakeholders”.
