Propylene prices in the Far East region and the European markets had remained constant for the last two consecutive Wednesdays. But on November 4, propylene prices across all major global markets took a hit.
FOB South Korea moved down from $1010-1012 per ton registered on October 28 to $1001-1006 per ton yesterday.
Prices of propylene (polymerization level) for FD Northwest Europe and CIF Northwest too fell from €745-755 per metric ton and €735-745 per metric ton to €741-751 per metric ton and €731-741 per metric ton, yesterday.
Propylene prices in the US market, which had risen on the previous Wednesday, fell marginally on November 4 from US cent 42.130-42.380 per lb recorded on October 21, to US cent 42.005-42.255 per lb.
