Sahara Craft Fest: Combination of tradition & trend

Ongoing Sahara Art and Craft Shopping Festival 2009 at Marine Drive, Kerala, which is an excellent combination of tradition and trend, displays the best of handloom and handicraft products brought from various parts of the country.
Myriad variety of handcrafted items including jewelry, hand embroidered textiles, beaded and zari worked saris and salwars, block print dress material, Orissa filigree silver jewelry, tussar silk, carpets, zardosi work bags from Gujarat and many other products.
Designer apparel items inspired from Bollywod are the best part of this shopping festival. The most demanded Rajasthani tie and dye crepe items, saris, salwars, patialas, cotton kurtis, tussar silk are also on display for the visitors.
In addition to this, Majestic Mirzapuri carpets, idols of the gods and temple accessories are also displayed in the exposition along with the food stalls selling dry fruits and spices from across the country.
