Chinese benzene prices to consolidate in short-term

On January 20, China's domestic benzene market was light and stable, trade volume limited. In the Asian markets, benzene closed US $15 higher than the previous session, at $1041-1044 per ton (FOB Korea) on January 19.
On January 20, benzene market price in East China stood at 8,200-8,400 Yuan / ton, in South China it closed at 8,200-8,300 Yuan / ton and in North China it was 8,200-8,300 Yuan / ton.
Although oil price in overseas markets rose, domestic benzene market continued its stability, the market held strong wait-and-see attitude, trade volume limited. Experts expect Chinese prices of benzene to consolidate in short-term.
