Oman Polypropylene goes in to force majeure

A 340,000 tons per annum polypropylene (PP) plant operated by Oman Polypropylene has been shutdown for a planned maintenance shutdown from February 7, 2010, according to a company official.
.
The senior official of the company confirmed the news to Fibre2fashion by saying that it will remain off-stream for a period of two months, along with which a oil refinery operated by a group company will stay shut-down for maintenance.
