Cotton fabrics exports to Vietnam record exponential growth

China's import and export volume of cotton fabrics totaled 7.483 billion meters in 2009, according to statistics of General Administration of Customs.
Of which, import volume registered 930.21 million meters, the average unit price of imports was US $1.80 per meter; export volume completed 6.55 billion meters, the average unit price of exports marked $1.19 percent.
In 2009 China's exports of cotton fabrics to Vietnam sharply expanded nearly 20 times compared to 2008. In 2009, China's exports of cotton fabrics to Vietnam registered 203.63 million meters.
At the same time, exports of cotton fabrics to Thailand and Hong Kong also achieved substantial growth year on year.
