On March 30, market price of propylene, CFR Northeast Asia ranged between US $1240-1300 per ton, essentially unchanged from last week, while CFR Southeast Asia ranged between $1150-1190 per ton, which also remained unchanged from the previous week.
In the Northeast Asia market, spot price remained at $1240-1300 per ton (CF Northeast Asia) and for CFR China it was quoted at $1260-1300 per ton, however, buyer intention ranged at around $1200 per ton (CFR China).
In Southeast Asia markets, the region had no transactions for the second consecutive week. Buyers were cautious in the market, due to recent startup of Asian crackers, as propylene supply is expected to increase.
