“Product innovation and industry restructuring should be undertaken by textile companies of the country so as to acquire more competitive stance in the international market”, opined Zhang Dejiang, China's Vice Premier.
Zhang, who was speaking during the inaugural ceremony of the three-day China International Trade Fair for Apparel Fabrics and Accessories, Beijing, also added that, “Chinese textile firms should take efforts in improving their product quality, must open new markets and create more jobs.” The trade fair witnessed participation from over 1,120 textile firms from 17 countries and regions.
Discarding outdated production capacity and emerging with more famous brands were few more points highlighted by Zhang.
