Hainsworth targets youngsters with new wool range

Textile firm, Hainsworths is to introduce a whole new range of blanket with bright colours which is specifically meant to publicize the benefits of wool amongst the youngsters.
The company for generations has been engaged in manufacturing exquisite blankets for higher class of people, like the royal families. An exclusive kind of its cashmere blankets in Harrods is traded for £3,000.
But now, the Stanningley Company with its latest and economical collection is endeavouring to attract the young crowd. The new collection is to be presented under the company's John Atkinson brand.
This new range of economical and colourful blankets has been created, bearing in mind those people, who go round while looking for reasonably priced interior fashion.
Tom Hainsworth, Managing Director, Stanningley termed wool as a durable product and remarked that woollen blankets are products, which can be endured for a lifetime and that, it not only conserves good health but is also ecologically advantageous.
He while highlighting the features of these blankets like sustainability and biodegradability said that, wool being a natural performance fibre helps to maintain the body temperature as during winters it provides warmth, while it keeps people cool during summers. He also pinpointed that research indicates that, a persons' heart rate gets reduced while sleeping under wool.
Mr Hainsworth, who is the seventh generation of the family, said, they by imparting it a more colourful look are trying to introduce woollen blankets amongst a new audience, the younger generation. He further said that, ignorance regarding its benefits has kept the fibre away from people and it has thus missed out on a whole generation.
